I made it out of Galveston, yet another former home under my belt. I'll miss that cranky island on the dirty coast. I'm in Nacogdoches at Mom and Dad's for the month of May. I'll be heading to California at the end of the month. For now I have a number of "writing projects" that I'm "working on". (unfortunately I still have to point out my use of "sarcasm"... we're not out of that forest yet)
So the Mexican pleasure cruise is a strange way to start a no-budget independent travel project, granted. But... I'll adapt, somehow. That's one of my mantras.
